DUBOISTOWN - The annual Founder's Day Banquet of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority was held at the Valley Inn in Duboistown.
A total of 53 chapter members from Williamsport, Jersey Shore and Lock Haven participated in the celebration of 80 years of tradition.
A Founder's Day message from sorority President Laura Ross Wingfield was read and next year's theme "You're Amoung Friends" was announced.
Individual chapters' Valentine queens were honored with red roses. Chapters' Girls of the Year were honored with yellow roses and a Silver Circle Ritual, honoring 25 years of service, was performed for sisters Mary Warner and Shirley Moore of the XL Epsilon Sigma Chapter.
Members were entertained by jazz music performed by Williamsport Music Collective students.
A 50/50 drawing and Chinese auction of the baskets donated by each chapter.
