LOCK HAVEN - The Lock Haven Area YMCA recently received a much-needed tourism grant from the Clinton County Planning Commission.
The Lock Haven Area YMCA has dramatically increased the number of special events that promote tourism to the PA Wilds, specifically Lock Haven. Some of these events include The Great Island Adventure Triathlon, Run the River 5/10K and the Strongman Competition.
The $1,415 grant directly supports marketing and advertising for the YMCA's Second Annual Strongman Competition, slated for Sept. 22 at Piper Airport, which is also in conjunction with Piper's 75th anniversary year.
