Two-vehicle crash

CURTIN - A two-vehicle crash occurred Sunday at 4:20 p.m. on the Eagle Valley Road in Liberty Township, Tpr. Jason Michaels of the Pennsylvania State Police at Rockview said. Police said Steven Fisher, 19, of Mill Hall was driving west on Beech Street and approaching the Rag Valley Road and Brandy Boob, 29, of Beech Creek was driving south on the Rag Valley Road, when the two vehicles collided in the intersection. Fisher and his passenger, Amanda Stoltzfus, 19, of Bellefonte, suffered minor injuries in the accident, police said.

Weapon found in prison

BELLEFONTE-A weapon was found in an inmate's cell at the State Correctional Institution at Rockview on May 30, state police at Rockview said. A six-and-a-half-inch weapon made of fence wire sharpened to a point with a cloth handle was found hidden under the suspect's desk seat in a white sock, police said.

Terroristic threats reported at prison

BELLEFONTE-A 50-year-old inmate of the State Correctional Institution at Rockview made terroristic threats toward two SCI Rockview medical staff members on May 31, state police at Rockview said. The investigation continues pending criminal charges, police said.
