In response to the fatal water truck accident article written by Jim Runkle (from a meeting of the Clinton County Natural Gas Task Force), I would like to express my deep sympathy to the family of the driver who was killed in that accident.
This article was written to assure people that the environment has not been hurt. Is the environment more important than life? Gerald Lacy was wrong when he said the accident could have been worse. Worse than death? Death in an accident is the most tragic, worst thing that could ever happen in any situation. I, along with others who read the article, was offended for the family because of the way this article was presented.
