William Donald Englert, 79, of 84 Vongunden Road, Lock Haven, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Susque-View Home Inc.
Born Feb. 5, 1933 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Roy Englert and Mildred Harrington.
He is survived by his spouse, Loretta Carol Mann.
Englert worked at Hammermill Paper Co. in the quality control department for 40 years before retiring in 1951.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Englert was also a 1951 graduate of Lock Haven High School, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
He was a member of the Lock Haven American Legion, Castanea Fire Hall and Sons of Italy.
In addition to his spouse, he is survived by a son, Donald E. (Robin) Englert of Lock Haven; a stepson, Keith F. White of Williamsport, a daughter, Bonnie J. (Joe) Pizzino of North Bend; a stepdaughter, Janet L. Mahonski of Williamsport; a brother, Robert (Sherri) Englert of Castanea; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Englert.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, with Robert Mann officiating
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Huntingdon's Chorea Society or the Clinton County SPCA, care of the funeral home.
Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
