Gabrielle M. Torok, 93, a former resident of Renovo, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg.
She was born June 21, 1918 in Renovo the daughter of Geza and Cathalin (Tomasch) Torok.
She was a 1930 graduate of Renovo High School and also a graduate of the University of Pa. where she received a degree in nursing.

Gabrielle retired after 40 years as a registered nurse from Haverford State Hospital, Upper Darby, Pa.
She was a member of Charlton United Methodist Church, Harrisburg. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, traveling, bird watching and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her niece and caregivers Cathalin (John) Schminky of Harrisburg, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister Helen Garrett, and five brothers, her twin Felix, Geza, Charles, William and Ernest.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, at the North Bend Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Pickering officiating.
Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo, is in charge of arrangements.
