Cora S. Buckwalter, 92, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Messiah Village.
Born Nov. 23, 1919 in Hill Town, Bucks County, she was the daughter of the late Israel and Bertha Ruth, and wife of the late Rev. Lloyd T. Buckwalter.
Together they served as pastor and wife of the Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church for over 45 years.
Cora is survived by three sons, Elwood R. Buckwalter of Elizabethtown, Mervin R. Buckwalter of Lancaster, and Leon R. Buckwalter of Bellefonte; one daughter, Karen R. Vundla of Baltimore, Md.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the Messiah Village Chapel at 11 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012, with a viewing for family and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. A viewing and memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
