Cara L. Day, 18, of Howard, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born in Lock Haven on Nov. 11, 1993, the daughter of Scott A. Day of Howard and Laura Weaver, also of Howard.
Cara was a 2012 graduate of Central Mountain High School where she was a member of the soccer and track teams.

Her friends brought her the most joy, and she really enjoyed helping them.
She had a heart of gold and was a very forgiving person.
Cara was accepted to Lock Haven University in the fall, majoring in exploratory studies.
Along with her parents, Cara is survived by two brothers, Mitchell L. Nihart of Howard and Jared S. Day of Lock Haven. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Richard and Roberta Weaver of Beech Creek, paternal grandparents, Gordon and Caroline Day of Howard, and aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Blanchard Church of Christ at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wally Kocher officiating. There will be a public visitation from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2012, at the church.
Burial will be at Schencks Cemetery, Howard Town-ship.
