Perry M. McKean, 87, of Howard, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, in Jersey Shore Hospital.
He was born on March 21, 1925, a son of the late David and Bertha Sheddy McKean.
He married Janet Fannestock in 1951. She died April 18, 2009.
Perry was a machinist for Boeing Aircraft in Philadelphia for many years.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Perry was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge of Philadelphia.
He loved animals of all kinds, particularly his lab "Daisy Mae."
Surviving are two sisters, Mae Falls of Howard and June Confer of Spring Mills, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Violet, Dorabelle, Irene and Trixie, and three brothers, Harry, James and Fred.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today at Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard, with the Rev. Alan S. Eckenroad officiating. Burial will be in Christian Cemetery, Blanchard. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
