LOCK HAVEN - The Lock Haven Hospital Auxiliary hosted its annual Scholarship Luncheon, awarding a pair of Central Mountain High School graduates who will pursue careers in healthcare $1,200 scholarships.
Caroline Troutman, who will pursue a degree in nursing at Bloomsburg University, and Joey Miller, who has been accepted into the physical therapy program at Mercyhurst College in Erie, were the 2012 scholarship recipients.
Lock Haven Hospital CEO John Zidansek addressed the luncheon, praising the dedication and commitment of the auxiliary and its efforts to support not only the future of healthcare through the scholarship program, but also the generous donations of equipment they have made to the facility.
