Penn College offers computer class

WILLIAMSPORT - Adults age 55 and older who want to learn more about using computers for fun and convenience may enroll in a noncredit course in July on Pennsylvania College of Technology's main campus.

The easy beginners' class introduces the computer for enjoyment. It will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays, July 10 and July 17 in the Center for Business and Workforce Development.

The instructor will lead participants through games, email, the internet, Facebook, basic word-processing for letter-writing and other enjoyable and practical applications. Participants will learn in a hands-on environment and be able to experiment with the computer without fear or anxiety. Plenty of time is provided for questions and answers.
