Russell John Stauffer Sr., 69, of 10 Kelly Lane, Lock Haven, died Friday, June 29, 2012 at the Gatehouse Hospice.
He was born on June 3, 1943, the son of the late Monroe and Florence Hall Stauffer.
On April 24, 1965 in Philadelphia, he married the former Anna Malone, who survives in Lock Haven.
He was veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired as a Philadelphia Firefighter after 25 years of service.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, John M. Stauffer (Joanne) of Mill Hall; a daughter, Jennifer L. Stauffer of Lock Haven; a brother, Harry Stauffer of Washington; a sister, Florence "Dixie" Rohlfing of New Jersey; three grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn, Russell John and Christopher James Stauffer; and Gina Fox.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Danjolell-Stigale Funeral Home, 3260 Concord Rd., Aston, Pa. 19014.
