ALTOONA - The Beech Creek Crickets used a four-run third inning to down Altoona, 4-2, Sunday in Blair County.
Chuck Probst pitched six innings in the win, striking out seven batters. Phil Holter picked up the save for the Crickets.
Devin Stacey and Justin Houser each had two hits for Beech Creek.
The Crickets (9-2) will be back in action today when they travel to Bellefonte.

Clinton tops
Jersey Shore/GSV
BEECH CREEK - The Clinton 9-10 softball All-Stars jumped out to an early lead and held on to beat Jersey Shore/GSV on Sunday, 8-2.
Skylar Falls hit a home run for Clinton, while Madyson Smith recorded a triple in the victory.
Lindsey Johnson picked up the win from the circle.
Clinton will play Montoursville tomorrow at Newberry.
