BELLEFONTE-Randall Brooks of Howard was sentenced by Judge Bradley Lunsford of the Centre County Court to 37 to 77 years in a state correctional institution yesterday, according to a press release by the Centre County District Attorney.
After a four-day trial, Brooks was found guilty on all 39 counts, including attempted criminal homicide, aggravated jury tampering, intimidating a witness/victim and stalking, and all felonies.
On December 29, 2009, the 39-year-old Brooks attempted to kill his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend, Matthew Ross, by shooting at him from a moving truck.
