CASTANEA - A women's summer Bible study begins tonight and continues on Wednesdays through the summer at Big Woods Bible Church, Logan Avenue. The study is from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Based on the Nancy Leigh DeMoss book, "Surrender: The Heart God Controls," the study offers help if you are struggling with stubborn habits, secret sin or spiritual strongholds. The study reveals that the key isn't how committed you are in battle, it's how surrendered you are in God. This truth can be your breakthrough... the first step towards a deeper, richer, victorious spiritual life. For the Christian, waving the white flag doesn't mean "I give up." It means "Victory at last."
