Burglary, theft
MACKEYVILLE -Between June 27 and Sunday, a criminal broke into a garage located at 27 N. Mallard St. and stole a new Stihl chainsaw. The saw is a model MS 290, orange and white in color, with an 18-inch bar and serial number 287660932. Anyone with information on this burglary can contact the Lamar Township Police Department at 726-3070.
Accident
LINDEN - Edward L. Gohl, 56, of Linden crashed his 2007 Nissan Sentra on Youngs Road near Scenic View Drive in Woodward Township Saturday morning, Tpr. Christine Fye of the Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville said. Police said Gohl was driving west and was unable to maintain control of the vehicle, which left the road and crashed into a ditch, then continued on to hit an embankment, roll over and land on its passenger side. Police said Gohl will be cited for careless driving, driving on the wrong side of the road, traveling too fast for conditions and failure to immediately notify police of the accident.
Lunch cooler found
LOCK HAVEN-A blue "Arctic Zone" lunch cooler belonging to Wiatt Winn was found at Riverview Park and turned into Woodward Township Police Department Wednesday. The owner/family may claim it at that police station.
