MACKEYVILLE -On a beautiful early summer day, the 4-H Horse Program sponsored a Game Show at the Clinton County Fairgrounds.
Proceeds from this show helped purchase new electronic timers for the Clinton County Horse Program. Electronic timers are necessary in horse events in which documentation is needed to place the winners of each contest class.
Lu Ann Coleman, the 4-H volunteer leader who organized and ran the Game Show, also asked local 4-H?program supporters for sponsorships.
The class fees paid to enter the classes in the show, along with the sponsorship donations toward the timers, has enabled the program to hav the most current efficient technology available for youth and adults in Clinton County involved in horse events.
Supporters were: Biff Walizer, Becky Smith, Cindy and Dave Waltz, Dick and Linda Hanna, Dotterer Equipment, Duffy Butler, Kauffman's Store, Mary and Elwood Stover, Penns Valley Veterinary Clinic and Vivian Miller.

- Pole Bending 8 to 13 years - First place Brian Yoas on Junior, second Olivia Walizer on Georgie, third Brielle Hess on Perrywinkle.
- Pole Bending 14 to 19 years - First place Kyra Walizer on Paisley, second Jacinta Miller on Fading Mist, third Kristin Cavanaugh on Zoey, fourth Amy Middleton on Buster, fifth Jocelyn Pruss on Junior.
- Raised Box Keyhole 8 to 13 years - First place Jacob Yoas on Sassy, second Brian Yoas, third Olivia Walizer, fourth Elizabeth Shaffer on Perrywinkle.
- Raised Box Keyhole 14 to 19 years - First place Kyra Walizer, second Jacinta Miller, third Jocelyn Pruss, fourth Amy Middleton, fifth Kristin Cavanaugh.
- Barrel Race 8 to 13 years -First place Jacob Yoas, second Brian Yoas, third Olivia Walizer.
- Barrel Race 14 to 19 years - First place Kyra Walizer, second Jacinta Miller, third Jocelyn Pruss, fourth Kristin Cavanaugh, fifth Amy Middleton.
- 50-Yard Dash 8 to 13 years - First place Jacob Yoas, second Brian Yoas, third Brielle Hess.
- 50-Yard Dash 14 to 19 years - First place Kyra Walizer, second Jacinta Miller, third Kristin Cavanaugh, fourth Jocelyn Pruss, fifth Amy Middleton.
