LOCK HAVEN - Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets and get ready for the City of Lock Haven's Free Movie under the Stars!

The outdoor movie, The Perfect Game, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Aug. 11, in Triangle Park. The movie will begin at dark. Admission is free to the public. Free popcorn and drinks will be provided courtesy of the Clinton County Women's Center; donations will be accepted.

In this family-friendly film, a rag-tag group of poverty stricken kids from Monterrey, Mexico, in 1957 shocked the world by winning the Little League World Series in the only perfect game ever pitched in the Championship. One of the boys had discovered a member of their community who was a former major leaguer and he and their priest coached the boys to victory in this true story which captured the hearts of both nations. The movie stars Clifton Collins, Jr., Cheech Marin, Moises Arias and was directed by William Dear. The movie is rated PG.

The next featured movie at Triangle Park will be "Jack and Jill" on Aug. 25. The Lock Haven Outdoor Movie Series was made possible by a generous donation from Lock Haven Hospital.
