Forgery of power of attorney alleged

BEECH CREEK - A 47-year-old Beech Creek male was victimized by a teen in a forgery and theft Tuesday, Tpr. Christopher Wilson of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Police did not release the name of the victim. The suspect is a known female, 18, of Beech Creek, police said. According to police, the suspect forged the victim's name on a power of attorney document in order to receive an insurance settlement. The investigation is continuing.

Auto crashes

RAUCHTOWN - Christopher J. Moore, 21, of Avis crashed his 2000 Hyundai Elantra on Route 880 in Limestone Township Sunday, Tpr. Gary Beadle of the Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville said. Police said Moore was driving north and attempting to negotiate a left curve when his car skidded out of control, traveled onto the east side of the highway and crashed into a utility pole.

Moore, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, will be cited for speeding, police said.

Garage burglary

LINDEN - Edward Hubbell, 62, of Linden told state police at Montoursville his garage was burglarized late Saturday or early Sunday. Tpr. Douglas Hoffman said somebody entered the victim's garage through the unlocked door and stole a yellow Champion 3500 generator.

Harassment citation

JERSEY SHORE - Steven Maurice Williams, 35, of 432 E. Water St., Lock Haven was cited for harassment Monday at 12:25 p.m. at a Route 220 Highway residence in Piatt Township, Tpr. Eric J. Barlett of the Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville said. Police said Williams was arguing with a 32-year-old Lock Haven woman when he grabbed the victim, subjecting her to unwanted physical contact.

Fight over iPod

JERSEY SHORE - A 13-year-old Jersey Shore teen was cited for harassment Sunday along the Nichols Run Road in Mifflin Township, Tpr. Erik J. Barlett of the Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville said. Police said the teen and a 10-year-old were arguing about a lost Ipod when the older teen struck the victim, bruising his ribs.

Drunk driving alleged

LOCK HAVEN - Edward Patrick Pawlak, 31, of 75 Spring St, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, city police said. Police said Pawlak was stopped on Spring Street at West Fourth Street for a traffic violation at 1:22 a.m. July 28, and was found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Harassment alleged

LOCK HAVEN -James Richard Fye, 47, of 11 S. Jones St., was cited for harassment Thursday, city police said. Police said Fye struck a 50-year-old woman in the face during an argument.

Harassment alleged

LOCK HAVEN -Jason Tressler, 32, and Brandy Marie Tressler, 34, both of 4 N. Henderson St., were cited for harassment Monday evening, city police said. Police said the two were involved in a domestic dispute and both were injured in the incident.

Bike stolen

LOCK HAVEN - A woman's burgundy, 26-inch bicycle was stolen late Tuesday or early Thursday from the rear of a home at 344 W. Water St., city police said.

Burglary occurs

FLEMINGTON - A burglary at the home of Kevin Timko, 400 Canal St., Flemington, is being investigated, Tpr. Spencer Ritrosky of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. The entry was made Saturday and an X-Box gaming system was stolen, police said.

Retail theft alleged

MILL HALL - A 16-year-old female was cited for retail theft Sunday at the Kmart Department Store in Bald Eagle Township, Tpr. Martin of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Police said the youngster stole items valued at $122.91.

Fraud alleged

MILL HALL - An unauthorized purchase was made using a credit card July 214 at Puff's Discount, 103 Hogan Blvd., Bald Eagle Township, Tpr. Michael Flook of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.Police said the incident occurred July 24 and the actor was a female in her late 20s with a medium build.

Criminal mischief

MILL HALL - Benjamin Frances Tedrow III of Mill Hall was cited for criminal mischief Tuesday evening, Tpr. Martin of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Police said Tedrow cut the tires on a vehicle owned by Kayla Jean Baker, 20, of Mill Hall, as the vehicle was parked at 26 Sagamore Drive. The damage was estimated a $300, police said.

Man cited for alleged harassment, vandalism

MILL HALL -A Howard man was cited for harassment and criminal mischief Wednesday for an incident on the Bald Eagle Mountain Road in Bald Eagle Township. Police did not identify the person who was issued the citation. Police said the victim was a Bald Eagle Township resident. According to Tpr. Spencer Ickes, the two were arguing inside the home when things turned physical and the accused would lot let the victim leave the bedroom. Police said the man pushed the woman onto the bed and stood at the doorway, preventing her from leaving. The woman attempted to leave by crawling out the bedroom window, but the man closed the window on the victim's right hand, pushed her on the bed, grabbed her neck and slapped her in the face, causing her glasses to break, police said.
