Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, welcome to kids day at the Clinton County Fair. Dozens of children turned out under cover of clouds on Friday to try their hand at various carnival-style games like ring toss and farm favorites like potato sack races. Kids also received free face painting and an opportunity to ride the rides for three hours at the discounted price of $5. The fair ends tonight.
