The Nittany Junior (9-10 grades) won a bronze medal at the recent Keystone Games, held in August. The team, which finished 4-2, beat Metro of Philadelphia of the bronze. Local players include four kids from Central Mountain — Ethan McGill, Bryce Hanley, Clayton Butler and Austin Houser — and one from Jersey Shore, Bronson Bass. Four local Central Mountain kids played on the scholastic team (11-12 grades), but those results weren’t reported to The Express. Those local athletes included Cole Hanley, Drew Nyman, Darrin Masorti and Mitch Heverly.
