John R. Michl, 70, of McElhattan, passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at Jersey Shore Manor Care.
He was born March 29, 1942 in Philadelphia.
John was the husband of the former Mary Carol Lancaster with whom he shared 38 years of marriage.
He attended Avis United Methodist Church.
John was a member of the VFW in Muncy and the Keen Senior Citizens Club in Woolrich.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; three step-children, Mark R. (Debbie) Bower of Muncy, Janet L. Parag of Delaware City, Del., and Dianne E. (Gerald) Goodreau of Avis; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
Relatives and friends are invited to John's Life Celebration memorial service 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 at the Avis United Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas Jones officiating.
