Retail theft alleged
MILL HALL - Curtis John Irvin, 26, of Lock Haven, and Timothy Lee Getgen, 26, of Lamar were both charged with retail theft Aug. 8 at the Wal-Mart Super Center, 167 Hogan Boulevard, Bald Eagle Township, Tpr. Christopher Soo of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Police said the two men stole a 47-inch Vizio flat screen television valued at $548. In a similar incident, Irvin, Getgen and Joshua Franklin Lee, 26 of Lamar are also charged with stealing a 46-inch Hisense flat screen television from the same store on Saturday.

RENOVO - A Fuji digital camera and Gateway laptop computer were found along Erie Avenue in Renovo Tuesday at 6 a.m., Tpr. A.M. Sheridan of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Police said anybody missing those items or who has information about the owner is asked to contact Trooper Sheridan at the Lamar station, 726-6000.
Break-in
RENOVO - A burglary occurred at the Puff N Snuff tobacco shop in Renovo Tuesday around 2:30 a.m., Tpr. Spencer Ickes of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said. Police said a known male broke through the mesh screen on the front door and smashed the front window of the store to gain entry.
The suspect then entered through the window and stole numerous cartons of cigarettes before fleeing by foot south.
