LOCK HAVEN - The Clinton County Herb Guild met on July 9 in Conference Room E of Lock Haven Hospital.
Barbara Schmouder presented a program on "Herbs of the Bible" and informed members about the location of various herbs in the bible, the context in which they were used, and their properties and uses today.
Members were encouraged to submit herbal entries to be judged at the Clinton County Fair.
The August meeting was cancelled and the next meeting will be the annual herbal picnic to be held at 6 p.m. on Sept. 10 at Mill Hall Community Park
