Plan to stop by the Bellefonte Museum on Saturday afternoon to meet this very talented artist.

FUN DAY

Marsh Creek BIC Church will be having a family fun day at the church grounds along Summit Hill Road tomorrow from noon to 4 p.m. A picnic lunch will be shared and those of the community are invited to bring a covered dish and join church pastor Dan Longmore and congregation members for an afternoon of games, songs, fun and fellowship.

DICE RUN

The annual Dice Run and Pig Roast to benefit the Pine Glen Fire Company will be held on Sat., Sept. 8. This is the tenth year that the event has been held. Registration for the ride is from 9-noon at the fire station located between Moshannon and Karthaus. The ride begins at noon and you will have your chance to travel through some of the most beautiful country that our area has to offer. The ride is about 115 miles along the PA Wilds Elk Scenic Drive with checkpoints along the way for registered participants to roll dice while competing for cash prizes.

The pig roast follows the dice run and is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Door prizes and raffle tickets will also be available. All proceeds will benefit the Pine Glen Fire Company. For more information on this event call Matt at (814) 387-6524 or the fire station at 387-4426.

SWEET CORN

The Beech Creek Blanchard Fire Company is having a sweet corn fundraiser again this summer. Sweet corn will be available next week at the fire station for purchase. The corn is $4.50 per dozen or $18 per bushel. You can pre-order your bushels by calling and leaving your name and the date that you would want to pick up your sweet corn. You may call and leave a message at the fire station at 962-2382 or call Allen at (570) 660-0913.
