Resisting arrest

JERSEY SHORE - A Lock Haven man was charged with trespass, resisting arrest and fleeing police for an Aug. 9 incident in Piatt Township, Tpr. Paul McGee of the Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville said.

Steven Williams, 35, was arraigned before District Judge Jerry Lepley and was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in default of $50,000 bail, police said.

According to police, Williams entered a GR Construction Management office building through an unlocked window and harassed a female employee.

As police arrived on scene, Williams was advised he was under arrest, but fled on foot to a nearby vehicle. Police followed but broke away as he entered Route 220 in a reckless manner and sped away at a high rate of speed.

Information on Williams was passed on to Williamsport police, who confronted him in the 900 block of High Street in the city, and were forced to subdue him with a Taser gun.

Williams was also charged with disorderly conduct, driving under suspension, speeding, careless driving and reckless driving, police said.

Burglary investigation

JERSEY SHORE - Two known individuals are suspected of entering a camper and stealing a dog and other items in Piatt Township Aug. 1, state police at Montoursville said.

Police said the items belonged to the father of the named victim, Christina M. Miller, of Jersey Shore.

The investigation is continuing. The suspects are a male and female, 21 and 22 respectively, both of Lock Haven, police said.

Theft from vehicle

MILL HALL - Two Jeep doors were stolen on or before Monday at Martin Motors in Bald Eagle Township, Tpr. Christopher Wilson of the Pennsylvania State Police in Lamar said.

Police said anybody with information about the theft should call 726-6000.

Harassment investigation

SOUTH RENOVO - No charges were filed as a result of a harassment investigation Monday at 150 Pennsylvania Ave., South Renovo, Tpr. Christopher Wilson of the Pennsylvania State Police at Montoursville said.

Police said the suspects and victims included a male, 47, and female 52. The woman got upset when accusing the man of spending too much of the public assistance money on canned soup and the argument escalated when the male allegedly pushed the refrigerator door into the female.

None of the participants wanted to press charges, police saod

Garage vandalized

A garage door across from the Renovo Fire Station was vandalized late Monday or early Tuesday, Tpr. Christopher D. Wilson of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Police said somebody damaged the door and broke a window at the residence of Susan Ransdorfer, 57, of Renovo.

Drunk driving

COUDERSPORT - Alexandr Yushkevich, 23, of Warminster was arrested for drunk driving Thursday on Route 150 at Bittner Lane in Beech Creek, Tpr. Curtis Confer of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Police said Yushkevich was stopped for an equipment violation and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Criminal mischief

LAMAR -A windshield and rear window of a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe was shot late Monday or early Tuesday in an act of vandalism at the home of the victim, Daniel Auman, 40, of 249 Stone House Road, Porter Township, Tpr. Christopher Soo of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Theft from auto

DUNNSTOWN - Eric James Watkins, care of the Clinton County Correctional Facility, was charged with theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property Wednesday.

Woodward Township police said the original incident occurred June 13, and Watkins was already incarcerated when arraigned on the new charges.

He remains in prison in default of $10,000 bail, police said.
