MILL HALL - The Mill Hall Kiwanis Club invites youth organizations to benefit from a no-fail fundraiser sponsored by the club, the Fall Youth Raffle.
All nonprofit youth organizations in Clinton County may sign up for and sell raffle tickets at no cost to them. The Kiwanis club provides the tickets and the six prizes. The groups keep all the ticket money they collect.
Sept. 10 is the deadline to reserve tickets, which will be available for pickup Friday, Sept. 28. Prizes will be given away Nov. 15.
Interested nonprofits may contact raffle chairman Charlie Gephart at johngephart@comcast.net or 570-726-3333 for ticket information.
More than 13,000 tickets were sold in the 2011 Fall Youth Raffle. The Mill Hall Kiwanis Club also conducts a Spring Youth Raffle, and in the past year helped 47 youth organizations raise more than $28,000.
"This is as easy as it gets for youth organizations to raise money for their needs," Gephart said.
Tickets are to be picked up at Mill Hall Fire Hall from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 28 only.
