Jennifer Elizabeth Johnson and Timothy Aaron Miller were united in marriage on Saturday, May 12, 2012.

The 2:30 p.m. ceremony, officiated by Deacon Philip Gibson, was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lock Haven.

Jennifer is the daughter of Kerry and Maureen Johnson of Mill Hall, and the granddaughter of Vaughn Johnson of Beech Creek and the late Jane Johnson and Thomas and Andrea Shafer of Mill Hall.

Timothy is the son of Timothy and Susan Miller of Mill Hall. He is the grandson of the late Frank and Lois Miller of Salona, Melvin Litz Sr. of Linden and the late Sally Robinson.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless satin gown featuring a soft Princess A-line silhouette cascading to a chapel-length train. Lovely ruching detail complimented the bodice and sweetheart neckline. Delicate beaded lace appliques adorned the bodice and the skirt.

Jennifer carried an elegant clutch-style bouquet of yellow tulips, ranunculus, cymbidiium and oncidium orchids in combination with white hydrangea and Matsumoto asters and accented with black tail feather loops and finished in white satin wrap with pearl pin closures.

The wedding party included Mary Beth Zimmerman of Halifax, friend of the bride, as matron of honor, and Jamie Johnson of Mill Hall, sister of the bride, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sara Beth Probst of Pittsburgh, Lindsay Hawksworth of Loganton, Birgitta Polen of Milton, all friends of the bride, and Jamie Miller of Salona, sister-in-law of the groom. Elisabeth Shafer of Charlottesville, Va., cousin of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid.

Best men were Matthew Miller of Salona, brother of the groom, and Scott Miller of State College, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Brad Swisher of Shermans Dale and Michael Miller of Birdsboro, both friends of the groom; Jeremy Miller of Rochester, N.Y., cousin of the groom, and Jeffrey Johnson of Mill Hall, brother of the bride. Kyle Shafer of Charlottesville, Va., and Shawn Shafer of Mill Hall, both cousins of the bride, were guest book attendant and program attendant, respectively.

Scripture readers were Ashley Fenton of Aston, friend of the bride, and Brian Smith of Carlisle, cousin of the groom.

Music for the ceremony was performed by organist Patricia Helbley, cantor Mary Lou Putek and vocalist/guitarist Stephen Craft. "Amazing Grace" was the featured solo at the opening of the ceremony while "Ave Maria" was performed during the presentation of flowers to the Blessed Mother.

After Friday's wedding rehearsal, a buffet-style dinner was hosted by the groom's parents on the patio of Haywood's on the Green, Mill Hall. The wedding ceremony was followed by an evening dinner and dance reception give by the parents of the bride at the Genetti Hotel Ballroom in Williamsport. On Monday morning, the newlyweds traveled to Montego Bay, Jamaica, for a week-long honeymoon.

Mrs. Miller is a certified physician's assistant practicing at Clinton Medical Associates, Mill Hall. Mr. Miller is employed by United Parcel Service in State. The couple resides in Mill Hall.
