FLEMINGTON - The annual Flemington Fall Festival, sponsored by the Hi Neighbor Committee and Goodwill Hose Co., will be held Friday evening and Saturday, Sept. 14 and 15.
The event at the old festival grounds, behind the Red Eye Center, promises fun for everyone.
The festival will begin Friday evening with food and games from 6 to 10 p.m. The band Shot in the Dark also will play throughout the evening.
On Saturday, craft vendors will set up and be open at 9 a.m. The games and food open at 10 a.m. The Clinton County Community Band will play from noon to 1 p.m.
The Fall Festival Parade is set for 5 p.m. Saturday, stepping off at Allison and High streets and concluding at Canal Street. Units can form beginning at 3:30 p.m. on West Fourth Street by the ballfield. Cash prizes will be given to winning entries. Anyone wishing to join the march should call Dustin Houtz at 570-660-1818.
The band LIXX will take the festival into the evening, playing from 6 to 10 p.m.
Interested craft vendors are invited to reserve a 10x10 spot. For the fee and other details, call Sheila Weaver at 570-367-1708.
Cake donations are needed for the cake wheel. Anybody who can donate one is asked to bring it to the Red Eye Center on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
