Retail theft

MILL HALL - Quaniece Doleman and Malorie Lane, both of Howard, were cited for retail theft Saturday at 7:50 p.m., Tpr. Spencer Ickes of the state police at Lamar said.

Police said Doleman and Lane selected and concealed items on their persons at the Wal-Mart Super Center in Bald Eagle Township, then tried to walk past the point of final sale without paying for the merchandise.

Underage drinking

MACKEYVILLE - Three teens were cited for underage drinking and public intoxication Friday at 9:33 p.m. at Denny's Restaurant in Porter Township, Tpr. Benjamin J. Campana of the state police at Lamar said.

Two juveniles, 16 and 15, of Lamar, and Sebastian Pispas, 18, of Bellefonte, were cited, police said.

In another incident at Denny's the same night, Austin Perez, 20, of Loganton, consented to a search of his vehicle, and was subsequently charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

One-vehicle crash

MILL HALL - Ashley Brittan, 22, of Mill Hall, crashed her 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier on Route 220 just past the Mill Hall entrance ramp Saturday at 1:22 p.m., Tpr. Benjamin J. Campana of the state police at Lamar said.

Police said Brittan was driving north when her auto traveled onto the right shoulder and went over an embankment before crashing into a metal fence.

The car had minor damage and there were no injuries, police said.

Firearm found

McELHATTAN - A rifle was found by two fishermen Aug. 21, along the Susquehanna River at the McElhattan Drive bridge, Tpr. Timothy T. Eisler of the state police at Lamar said.

The rifle was a Browning with synthetic stock and was severely damaged and weathered by being in the river.

Motor home accident

RENOVO -Hasan Vukel, 67, of Bangor crashed his 2011 Ford Coachman Freelander motor home Saturday at 11 a.m. on the Bitumen Mountain Road in Noyes Township, Tpr. Timothy Eiler of the state police at Lamar said.

Police said Vukel was driving south when his brakes failed on a downhill run.

Vukel and his passenger, Medo Vukel, 35, also of Bangor, managed to jump from the mobile home to safety before it traveled off the road and went over an embankment.

Medo Vukel suffered a minor injury, police said.

Harassment alleged

LOCK HAVEN - Christopher Thomas Caris, 30, of 140 1/2 E. Main St., was cited for harassment Saturday at 9:42 p.m., city police said.

Police said Caris struck a woman during an argument at his residence.

Disorderly conduct

LOCK HAVEN -Monica Hughes, Kimberly Tillia and Lauren Miller were all cited for a loud party at their residence at 130 N. Fairview St., city police said.

Police said they arrived to hear screams and profanity from four houses away and arrived to see a person vomiting on the porch.

Vandalism

LOCK HAVEN - A screen door was damaged in an act of vandalism Sunday at a home in the 10 block of North Fairview Street, city police said.

Police said the residence was entered but nothing appeared to be stolen.

Underage drinking

LOCK HAVEN - Nathan David Sweeley, 19, of 53 1/2 Bellefonte Ave. was cited for underage drinking Saturday at 11:54 p.m. at a residence in the 100 block of North Fairview Street, city police said.

Police said Sweeley was found to be arguing at that location, damaged some property and was found to be intoxicated.
