Theft investigated
JERSEY SHORE - Tiadaghton Valley regional police are investigating a theft that took place in July or August at a storage building at 964 Nicholas Run Road.
Police said the stolen items included several riding mowers, a tiller, a generator, parlor stoves, a large kitchen stove, folding banquet tables, an antique cultivator and some push mowers.
Anybody who might have seen suspicious activity in the vicinity of the Nicholas Run Road is asked to call police at 398-2146.
Cell phone found
JERSEY SHORE - A silver cell phone has been found and is in the possession of the Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police Department.
The phone was found in the Jersey Shore area, and the owner may claim his or her property by calling 398-2146.
Harassment reported
JERSEY SHORE - Jennifer Bertin, 28, of West Fourth Street, Williamsport, was cited for harassment, Tiadaghton Valley regional police said.
Police said Bertin called the home of her ex-husband, Tom Smith and his girlfriend, Lindsay Snyder, and yelled names at them, trying to get Snyder to fight her.
Bad checks
JERSEY SHORE - Two people were cited for writing bad checks to Lingle's Family Market in July.
Kristie Hamm, 35, of Bald Eagle Street, Lock Haven, wrote a bad check for $83.54 and William Smith of Narrows Road, Lamar, wrote bad checks in the amounts of $63.12 and $56.05.
In both cases, police issued a summons.
Vandalism reported
JERSEY SHORE - Amber Donnelly, 23, of Courtdale was cited for criminal mischief recently, Tiadaghton Valley regional police said.
Police said Donnelly broke into a home at 1407 Walnut St., Jersey Shore, where she used to live with another individual, and took belongings. In the process, police said, Donnelly caused damage to the residence.
Two-vehicle accident
BELLEFONTE-When Harry E. Lansberry, 61, of Julian, was trying to turn left off Route 220 Northbound onto Interstate 80 East in Boggs Township near South Eagle Valley Road, he pulled out in front of Brandy L. Loesch, 18, of Bellefonte, and her 1994 Plymouth Duster struck his 1993 General Motors vehicle, Monday at 7:38 p.m., state police at Rockview said.
Minor injuries were reported, and all used seat belts, police said.
Lansberry was charged with vehicles turning left, police said.
