Our Congress must approve all spending by our government.
In 2006, America elected a Democrat Conress with Harry Reid as the Senate leader and Nancy Pelosi the House leader.
George Bush was president and Congress authorized over $1 trillion in spending in the last two years of President Bush's term, mostly to stop the real estate housing bubble that burst in the last year of Bush's term.
This was caused primarily by the sub-prime mortage loans, which caused the housing prices to go up, until the bubble burst with Fannie May and Freddie Mac. Barney Frank in the House and Chris Dodd in the Senate, who had the oversight responsibility, insisted they were in no trouble with these sub-prime loans.
Then America put the Democrats in charge of the White House with a blank check to spend over $1 trillion in excess of receipts for the next four years.
Now the big government spenders in Congress have over $16 trillion in federal debt with no cutbacks planned for stopping this wasteful and increased spending.
After six years of a Democratic Congress approving the president's spending, America needs to change its Democrat senators and representatives , or the United States will be like Greece and other countries with our dollars not worth much, And there will be riots in our streets, making America like a second-class nation with a bleak future and a real loss of opportunity and freedoms with no way to operate our federal government.
Any American family, business, city, county or state cannot survive with this Congress that made massive debt that will bankrupt America if it is not corrected this election
Our Congress is responsible for this massive debt and no one like Harry Reid should be allowed by any party to hand a blank check, which is the responsibility of all Americans to pay, to any government agency to spend in wasteful or promised benefits.
