Package stolen

LOCK HAVEN - A package was stolen from a front porch Saturday at 415 W. Main St., city police said.

Police estimated the loss at $35.

Hit and run

LOCK HAVEN - A parked 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt was damaged in a hit-and-run accident Thursday at Third and West Church streets, city police said.

Police are investigating the incident.

Burglary

LOCK HAVEN -A residence at 42 N. Fairview St. was entered and a laptop computer and gaming system were stolen, city police said

Police estimated the loss at $950.

Auto accident

TAMARACK - A two-vehicle, hit-and-run crash occurred Friday at 8:09 p.m. on the Tamarack Road in Leidy Township, tpr. Christopher Soo of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Police said Myles L. Gipe, 55, of Red Lion was driving a 1997 Ford F-150 north and was negotiating a left curve when his pickup was struck from behind causing him to spin out. His truck rolled onto its roof and came to rest in the southbound lane of Route 144.

The hit-and-run driver continued on without stopping to report the accident or provide information, police said.

Two-vehicle crash

MILL HALL -A two-vehicle crash occurred on the Eagle Valley Road in Bald Eagle Township Friday at 3:17 p.m., Tpr. Christopher Soo of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Police said Ruth Williams, 90, of Beech Creek had stopped her 2005 Subaru Legacy Outback at the intersection of Homestead Drive and Eagle Valley Road, when she pulled out from the stop sign and stopped partly in the northbound lane.

A 17-year-old teen attempted to avoid the collision while driving north, but her 1999 Ford Windstar struck the left front bumper of the Outback, police said.

One-vehicle accident

FLEMINGTON - A 16-year-old Mill Hall youth crashed his 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser on the Glenn Road in Flemington Saturday at 7:35 p.m., Tpr. Christopher Soo of the Pennsylvania State Police at Lamar said.

Police said the teen was driving south and negotiating a left curve when his vehicle drifted onto the berm.

The auto skidded sideways across the road, left the highway and crashed into a tree before rolling onto its roof, police said.

There were no injuries, police said.
