Sara Bowes of Lock Haven and Travis Blaschke of Spokane, Wash. were married on May 27, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, Destin, Fla., with Don Goodrum officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Bowes and Shirley and Robert Bloom of Lock Haven. She graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1998 and earned her B.S. in computer engineering from Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y. in 2002.
Blaschke, a son of Ellen and Stephen Blaschke of Spokane, graduated from Shadle Park High School, Spokane, in 1999 and from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash., in 2003, earning his B.A. in business management. Blaschke serves in the U.S. Army in Huntsville, Ala., and was deployed to Iraq from 2006 to 2007 and 2009 to 2010. He has also served in Afghanistan.

The rehearsal dinner was held at the landing at Eagle Bay, Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., and the reception was at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, Destin, Fla.
After a wedding trip to Destin, Fla., they live in Huntsville, Ala. with their puppy, Daisy Mae.
