Karin L. Andersson, 75, of Greensburg, formerly of Tylersville, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at Westmoreland Manor.
She was born in Malmo, Sweden, the daughter of the late Sven and Erna Andersson. She moved to the USA in 1961.
She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 1985.
In 1990 she moved to Tylersville in Sugar Valley, where she spent some of the best years of her life gardening, hiking, camping, and expressing herself through art.
While she lived in Tylersville, she was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Tylersville.
She is survived by her son Tom Ljungman and wife Bobbie Hineline, of Greensburg; her daughter Christina Richards and husband, Paul, of New York City, and grandchildren Tommy and Chris Richards.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at St Johns United Church of Christ in Tylersville (3792 Narrows Rd, Loganton). All are welcome.
