Several items stolen from home
LOCK HAVEN - A total of $1,400 worth of items was stolen from a residence in the 600 block of West Main Street sometime Friday or Saturday, city police said.
An unknown person cut the window screen and opened the window of the residence before entering the building and allegedly stealing a TV, PS3, a laptop and change, all valued at $1,400, police said.
Items stolen from cars
LOCK HAVEN - City police report two instances of items being stolen from vehicles recently.
A pistol was stolen from a vehicle while it was parked in the 100 block of East Water Street on Thursday, police said.
Also, an unlocked car was entered between 5:30 and 6:15 p.m. on Saturday while it was parked in the 300 block of East Main Street and a checkbook, a credit card and a driver's license were stolen from the vehicle, police said.
Hit-and-runs
LOCK HAVEN - Several hit-and-run accidents were reported recently by city police.
An unknown vehicle struck a 1997 Chevy pickup truck while it was parked on East Bald Eagle Street around 7 p.m. Friday, police said. The truck's mirror was damaged, police said.
Also, an unknown vehicle struck a vehicle owned by Eric Tyler Jacobs, 30, of Lock Haven, while it was parked in the 200 block of East Main Street between 9:20 and 10:45 a.m. Saturday, police said.
And, Freddie Leroy Wadsworth, 29, of Lock Haven, said the left mirror of his vehicle was struck overnight Saturday while it was parked at 362 E. Bald Eagle St., police said.
Window broken
LOCK HAVEN - Someone broke the window of a 2004 Ford Escape while it was parked in the 200 block of West Church Street between 1 and 9 a.m. on Saturday, city police said.
Elbow struck by car
LOCK HAVEN - A city man is charged with hit-and-run after he allegedly struck a man with his mirror on Dec. 27, city police said.
Samuel C. Vance was driving his 1991 Chevrolet Blazer around 1:40 p.m., when he struck Brandon A. Hamm of Lock Haven in the elbow with the passenger side mirror. At the time, Hamm was helping to shovel a driveway at 397 E. Park St., city police said.
Hamm was treated at Lock Haven Hospital for minor injuries, police said.
Car hits utility pole
SPRING MILLS - Two people were injured after their car struck a utility pole off Route 45 Thursday at 9:30 a.m., Tpr. Jason Michaels of state police at Rockview said.
Cindy L. Mitchell, 39, of Lewistown, was driving her 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera east on Route 45 when she began drifting toward the right shoulder, police said. The car then went over the embankment and struck a tree before hitting a utility pole about two feet away, police said.
Both Mitchell and a passenger, Sherri L. Mitchell, 57, of Lewistown, were treated at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College with unknown injuries, police said.
No injuries
STATE COLLEGE - No injuries were reported after a crash with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 99, Patton Township, Friday evening, Tpr. Thomas Snyder of state police at Rockview said.
Patricia A. Lang, 53, of Bellefonte, was driving north on I-99 around 6:45 p.m. and attempted to change lanes in front of a 2008 Freightliner, driven by Anthony F. Carter, 41, of West Milton, police said. Lang struck the tractor-trailer and spun around, striking it twice more before coming to rest, police said.
Lang was charged with careless driving, police said.
No injuries
STATE COLLEGE -No injuries were reported after a two-car crash Wednesday on Interstate 99, Patton Township, Tpr. Thomas Snyder of state police at Rockview said.
Brandon D. Taylor, 21, of Bellefonte, and Wilmer C. Smith III, 34, of Milesburg, were driving south on I-99, when they collided around 6 p.m., police said.
Taylor was charged with passing on the left, while Smith was charged with careless driving, police said.
Disorderly conduct
WINGATE - Two men and women, all unidentified, are charged with disorderly conduct after they allegedly were involved in a large argument in the parking lot and store area of the Wingate Sheetz on Jan. 7 at 2:50 p.m., Tpr. Jason P. Michaels of state police at Rockview said.
