Commissioners step in to cover business park debt

LOCK HAVEN - With the Clinton County Economic Partnership facing some unanticipated shortfalls in the development of the Lamar Township Business Park, the Clinton County commissioners have accepted a debt not to exceed $460,000 on behalf of the Partnership, with the understanding the Partnership will pay back the money.

LHU welcomes new students, parents for orientation program

LOCK HAVEN - During the last two weeks of June, Lock Haven University welcomed about 1,200 new students and their parents for orientation sessions on campus. For the past 22 years, Lock Haven University has offered the incoming class of new students with the opportunity to meet university officials, faculty and students during a two-day Orientation Program.

Clinton applies for grant for center

LOCK HAVEN - The Clinton County commissioners will apply for a $2 million grant to create a new senior center in the city.
