Clinton County races rained out
Racing at the Clinton County Motor Speedway was postponed on Friday night due to rain that hit the speedway around 5:30 and did not let up.
Speedway officials and sponsors will seek a makeup date for the night’s races, which were to includeSuper Late Models, Pro Stocks 270 Micro-sprints and FWD four-cylinders.
The speedway returns June 23 with Limited Late Modesl, Sprints, Pro Stocks, FWD four-cylinders, and 600 Micro-Sprints.
J.R. Toner is leading the Limited late model point standings with 249. Second place is Mike Smith with 236 followed by Denny Fourney at 233, John Myers at 231 and Gary Mellott at 228 in the top five.
In sprints Kyle Ganoe is on top with 119, followed by Dale Schweikert at 110 Ken Duke at 101, and Dakota Schweikert and Scott Lutz each with 100.
A.Y. Schilling leads the Pro Stocks with 212 points Tommy Dawson next with 205 and Chris Snyder with 198 In FWD four-cylinders Eric Luzier leads with 240 over his brother Aaron at 220, and Ryan Miller at 218.
The 600 micros finds Josh Beamer on top with 205 and Jeff Weaver at 202 and Erick Knopp at 183.
