High School Wrestling: Central Mountain, Jersey Shore and Bellefonte compete in Conestoga Tournament

Central Mountain has advanced eight wrestlers into the quarterfinals and are currently in third place with 60 points, one point behind second place New Oxford with 61. Central Dauphin currently leads the tournament with 67.5 points.

Wildcats still alive in the championship bracket are Johnny Shreffler, Dalton Bechdel, Seth Andrus, Logan Long, Asher Corl, Tanner Weaver, Tanner Riggle and Mahlik Houtz.

Jersey Shore only had five wrestlers enter the tournament and two of the five Bulldogs are still alive. Still alive for Shore are Terry O’Connor and Dave Tomb Jr. The Bulldogs are currently in 17th place with 30 points.

Bellefonte went five up and five down in the opening round and the Red Raiders are currently in 20th place with 27 points. Still alive in the quarterfinals are Alex Coppolo, Cole Stewart, Ethan Richner, Andrew Howe and Max Mondy.
