ATHLETE OF THE WEEK:

Central Mountain High School basketball player Collin Jones has been named The Express Athlete of the Week. Jones scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds as the Wildcats defeated previously undefeated Huntingdon last Wednesday. For the season, Jones is averaging 18.5 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. When asked about his performance so far this season, he said, “This season has been a team effort and my performance has been elevated by my teammates.”

HONORABLE MENTION:

Bald Eagle Area High School 138 lb. wrestler Seth Koleno has been named this week’s The Express Honorable Mention. Koleno went a perfect 3-0 during the Bald Eagle Area Winter Classic this past weekend.
