LHU Baseball sits at No. 6 in NCBWA region poll
URBANA, Ohio – The Lock Haven University baseball team remained at No. 6 in this week’s National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II Atlantic Region poll.
LHU was ranked No. 6 last week as well.
Lock Haven is 6-2 overall and coming off a 3-1 weekend. The Bald Eagles split a doubleheader with Alderson Broaddus and swept a twinbill from Davis & Elkins.
On Sunday, March 11, Lock Haven will return to action. LHU will open the day with the region’s top team in Mercyhurst (10 a.m.) before taking on Wheeling Jesuit at 4 p.m.

MINTZER NAMED PSAC EAST PITCHER OF THE WEEK (Monday, March 5):
Junior Ross Mintzer was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Pitcher of the Week on Monday. Mintzer made the most of his start this weekend as he went 1-0 for LHU. He threw a complete-game five-hitter without giving up an earned run against Davis and Elkins. He was able to record four strikeouts and allow only one extra-base hit while holding the opposing team to just a .185 batting average for the game.
