Robbie Dickson 17th at U.S. Open Water Nationals
TEMPE, Ariz. – Penn State rising senior Robbie Dickson placed 17th in the men’s 10K at the USA Swimming Open Water National Championships Friday in Tempe Town Lake.
Dickson, a team captain for the Penn State, completed the course in 1 hour, 49 minutes, 53.691 seconds, ranking him 12th among Americans and 17th overall.
Dickson was competing for a place on the U.S. roster for the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships in Tokyo and the 2018-19 Open Water National Team. Selections for those teams will be announced on June 2, 2018.
