Lock Haven University Coaches’ Show returns for the 2018 season

MILL HALL — The 2018-19 edition of the LHU Coaches’ Show, presented by the Bear Country Sports Network, made its fall debut on Tuesday, live from Haywood’s on the Green in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania.

The LHU coaches’ show is part of the Bald Eagles partnership with flagship radio station, Bear Country Radio, WQBR 99.9 FM.

You can join host and the network’s ‘Sports Guy’ Sam Kuperman every week at 7 p.m. from Haywood’s on the Green as he interviews LHU coaches and student-athletes, among others.

LHU football’s 2018 season-opener aired live on The Bear Country Radio Saturday (Sept. 1) and the network will carry this week’s home-opener. WQBR will also stream Sunday’s (Sept. 9) field hockey match with Colgate as part of a five-game field hockey broadcast schedule. Along with all home and away football games, the network will also stream four home women’s soccer contests.

Listed below is the tentative fall event and coaches show broadcast schedule.

The LHU Coaches’ Show

The LHU Coaches’ Show will be held every Tuesday at 7 p.m., running through mid-March at Haywood’s on the Green in Mill Hall, Pa.

September 11: Dave Taynor (football), Pat Rudy (field hockey), Dr. Tom Gioglio (Director of Athletics)

September 18: Dave Taynor (football), Pat Rudy (field hockey), Aaron Russell (m & w cross country)

September 25: Dave Taynor (football), Pat Rudy (field hockey), Shannon Gerencir (volleyball)

October 2: Dave Taynor (football), Pat Rudy (field hockey), Kathy Brown (women’s soccer) — AND MORE TO COME!
