CM Basketball: Lady Wildcats fall on road to Mifflinburg, 57-26
FROM STAFF REPORTS
The Central Mountain girls basketball team fell on the road to Mifflinburg, 57-26.
Alyssa Fisher recorded a team-high eight points, and Quinlynn McCann added another five. Avery Baker, Morgan Wetzel and Mia Kopysciansky each posted four points, and Madison Smith notched one point.
Central Mountain fell behind early, 16-2 in the first quarter, and struggled to recover.
“It was a tough night against a solid and experienced opponent,” Central Mountain coach Scott Baker said. “But eight games still remain on the schedule and we will continue to use each day as an opportunity to get better, both as a team and individually.”
“We will not lose sight of the process of rebuilding this program,” Baker added.
