The Bossert Gallery at Ross Library offers a small but lovely exhibit area to the community for art shows of a wide variety. Those who sell pieces contribute a percentage to the library. Each show hangs for a month. In June, the Ross Adult Coloring Group which has been meeting for more than a year, shows some of their pencil coloring pieces, shown above. In July, Adult Services will be showing the submissions for “Space,” Ross’s summer theme, in photos, drawings, and paintings. In August Youth Services will display the works of young people who have attended a variety of summer activities at Ross Library. September’s show is “Adventures in Service: Artifacts from 30 years in West Africa, the South Pacific, and the good ole USA”. The public is invited to view the shows whenever Ross is open. Some shows include an opening event with a chance to talk with the artists.
