Soccer: BEA Lady Eagles remain undefeated with 4-1 win over Tyrone

FROM STAFF REPORTS

The undefeated girls varsity soccer team traveled to Tyrone Tuesday and kept their record unblemished as they prevailed by a score of 4-1.

Zoey McHenry got things going only 22 seconds into the match when she scored off an assist from Georgia Cingle. Her sister, Falen McHenry had a goal which was assisted by Emily Shiels.

Addison Proctor had another big night as she scored two goals. She was assisted by Allison Cowan and Zoey McHenry. Rachel Veneziano had another solid night in goal as she had four saves.

Head coach Jared Moore had this to say about the match, “The defense played strong, especially Sarah Holler. The offense moved the ball extremely well today and created a ton of opportunities for us to score.”

The girls return to action on Thursday as they host the P-O Mounties. Varsity action begins at 6 p.m followed by the junior varsity team.
