The Pennsylvania Military Museum, 51 Boal Ave., Boalsburg, invites kids of all ages to “Kids Day IV: Dress Up & Discover!” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12. Kids get to dress up in field gear and visit education stations in the museum’s galleries.

‘Clinton County

Goes to War’

The Clinton County Historical Society’s next Second Sunday free program is on Nov. 13, 2-4 p.m.,  at the Poorman Gallery, 352 E. Water St., next to the Heisey House Museum. This month’s program highlights the music, medal winners, POWs and how the 305th Ambulance Group from Lock Haven integrated the U.S. Army in 1917. Members and the public are invited.

Moravian star workshop

Time to get ready for Christmas! Learn to make a traditional 3-D Moravian star by weaving strips of paper together at a workshop on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at Ross Library’s second floor Gould Room, 232 W. Main St., Lock Haven. No special skills needed. Open to adults and children 10 and up. This is a perfect opportunity to share a joyful holiday experience together with children, grandchildren, family or friends. Class size is limited, so make reservations soon.
