Social media topic of business workshop
LOCK HAVEN — Social media is very important for businesses. A social media presence helps to validate your brand and tells consumers that your business is active and focused on thriving communication with consumers.
On May 24, from 9 a.m. to noon, the Lock Haven Small Business Development Center, along with the Covation Center of Williamsport, will be hosting a workshop on Social Media Strategies for Small Businesses.
Topics that will be covered are:
– What are the basics for creating a social media strategy
– Learn who your audience is using analytics and create a persona
– How to best utilize that strategy for your organic posts
Class space will be limited to 15 individuals. Registrations will be taken on line at https://pasbdc.ecenterdirect.com/events/25798 or by calling the LHU SBDC at 570-484-2848. Don’t delay in registering for this exciting innovative workshop. The cost to attend is $15. Registration fees can be mailed to Kristine Meeker, Educational Program Coordinator at LHU SBDC, 301 W. The workshop will be held at the Covation Center located at 217 West Fourth Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
The presenter, Christie Clancy, is the owner of Clancy214 Photography and a singer with Hops & Vines. She manages social media accounts for both of those endeavors. Her work as a small business owner mixed with her background in social media at Penn State University have helped her work with other small business owners and social media communicators on social media strategies, best practices and new trends.
