Banfills mark 45th wedding anniversary
Terry and Carmen Banfill of 9 Woodland Drive, Lock Haven, will observe their 45th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 7.
The couple plans to spend their special day visiting their son Sean and his wife in Sparrows Point, Md.
Mrs. Banfill is the former Carmen Brown.
They were married on Aug. 7, 1971 at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Williamsport. The ceremony was officiated by Carmen’s uncle, Father Francis French and Father G. Demuth.
Carmen is retired from Keystone Central School District as a fourth grade teacher. Terry retired from Weis Markets.
The couple is well known in the area for their community service and patriotism, having donated and dedicated American Flags at more than 100 schools, businesses and other facilities.
