Kelcee Kilpatrick is student of month
The Lycoming Career and Technology Center announces third-year student Kelcee J. Kilpatrick is Rotary/LycoCTC Student of the Month for February. Kelcee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin and Crystal Kilpatrick of Montoursville has received this honor based on outstanding work ethic, attendance, behavior, community service, and the recommendation of her LycoCTC Health Career instructor.
A Loyalsock Township High School senior, Kelcee participated in the Loyalsock Lancer Marching Band for four years as a percussionist and was the pit/front ensemble section leader for three years. She has attended the Pennsylvania College of Technology EMT and Phlebotomy Technician classes where she subsequently earned the National Emergency Medical Technician Certification and the National Phlebotomy Certification.
As a member of the Lycoming Career and Technology Center’s Skills USA Chapter, Kelcee competed this past January in the Skills USA District 6 Competition for CPR and First Aid, where she won first place and will advance to the Skills USA Competition in Hershey in April.
Kelcee has volunteered at the Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 (Station 18) in the Explorer Program. She also works part time at Dunkin Donuts in Loyalsock Township.
Following graduation from Loyalsock Township High School in June, Kelcee will pursue a degree and a career in nursing.
